Calvert Street Investment Partners Announce New Hire and Promotions

BALTIMORE, MD, March 13, 2024 — Calvert Street Investment Partners is pleased to announce the following promotions and new hire within its two businesses, Crescentia Capital and Parkway Capital.  According to Josh Hall, “The promotions and new hire demonstrate Calvert Street’s commitment to the team and to the markets that we serve.”


Crescentia Capital, the equity buyout business of Calvert Street Investment Partners, is pleased to announce the promotions of Stephen Randall to Partner, Brent Peterson to Associate and the hiring of Jeff Chase to the position of Business Development Analyst.  Brian Guerin, Managing Partner of Crescentia Capital said, “Steve has been a big driver of our firm’s success originating and executing on new investment thesis opportunities over the last several years.  We are excited to see what he will accomplish as a Partner.”  Since joining Crescentia Capital in 2014, Steve has played an important role in the development of several thesis-driven investment strategies leading to platform investments including: AllClear Underground Solutions, D2K Traffic Safety Services and Terra Nova Solutions. He has over 13 years of principal investment and investment banking experience, having started his career at J.P. Morgan.

Brian commented further, “We are also excited to announce Brent’s promotion to Associate and our hiring of Jeff as our BD Analyst.  Brent has done an outstanding job supporting the investment team at Crescentia since his hire in late 2021.  Jeff, our latest addition to the team, is already generating investment opportunities for current portfolio companies and our new investment theses.  Brent and Jeff are valuable contributors to the investment team, and we look forward to their continued development.”

Brent focuses on the investment activities of Crescentia Capital and has assisted in the execution of several portfolio companies including AllClear Underground Solutions and D2K Traffic Safety Solutions.  Prior to joining in 2021, he interned at T.Rowe Price.

Jeff focuses on the business development efforts of Crescentia Capital working with the investment team originating add-on acquisitions to current portfolio companies and sourcing potential platform opportunities for new thesis-driven investment strategies. Prior to joining, Jeff provided due diligence and strategy consulting services while at PricewaterhouseCoopers.


Parkway Capital, the mezzanine business of Calvert Street Investment Partners, is pleased to announce the promotion of Nelson Westwood to Vice President. “Nelson epitomizes the core values and principles of Parkway Capital and, over the past four years, has been a significant contributor to our success.” said Chris Pope, Partner and Co-Founder.

Since joining the firm in 2020, Nelson has assisted in the sourcing, analysis, evaluation and execution of many investment opportunities at Parkway Capital. Prior to joining the firm, Nelson provided investment services for the PNC Investment Portfolio at PNC Bank in Pittsburgh.
